Manufacturing Growth Eases in November

Manufacturing’s economic expansion eased in November, the Institute for Supply Management said. The Tempe, Ariz.-based group’s manufacturing index, known as the PMI, registered at 57.5 percent last month, according to a monthly report. New orders and production also eased while remaining in positive territory. The report raised concerns about manufacturers having trouble finding workers and with the continuing COVID-19 pandemic.
