Manufacturers were among the biggest supporters of President Donald Trump, especially when the president led the charge to cut the corporate tax rate. But manufacturing is finding out that Trump policies aren't like a cafeteria -- you don't get to pick one and decline another. The Trump administration has levied tariffs on imported steel and aluminum. Tariffs on US-made goods are likely in response. Also, the Trump administration is studying whether to impose higher tariffs against imported cars. "Tax cuts are great when you get them," Senior Editor Bill Koenig writes in a commentary. "Tariffs may not be so great if your business is affected adversely."

"At the beginning, the houses will be printed offsite and brought to their final location in the Meerhoven district of Eindhoven," Engadget said. "The aim is to make the futuristic-looking houses a work of art in and of themselves, so the final community looks like a sort of sculpture garden."

Airbus Set to Complete Bombardier C Series Deal in Challenge to Boeing
Airbus is scheduled on July 1 to assume control of a partnership that would control Bombardier Inc.'s C Series, Bloomberg said, citing a company statement. Airbus will own a majority stake in the partnership. A C Series plant will be built in Alabama, with initial deliveries in 2020. The move represents a challenge to Boeing Co.'s dominance in single-aisle jetliners, Bloomberg said.
